Examining Group Facilitation In Situ:The Use of Formulations in Facilitation Practice

source, provide a link to the Creative Commons license, and indicate if changes were made.In this paper we examine how the talk of the facilitator shapes group workshop interactions by using the conversational object 'formulation'. The data consist of video recordings of a corpus of four facilitated workshops held with management and development teams. By adopting an exploratory video-based investigation using conversational analysis to examine our data, we highlight the significance of three distinct set of formulations used by facilitators in workshops. Specifically, our findings show how formulations that encourage reflection or facilitate action, together with those collaboratively produced, enable sense making and the achievement of a temporal conversational order among participants. This research contributes to the study of facilitated workshops by offering a more nuanced approach to the understanding
of the craftsmanship of doing facilitation, its effects on the workshop process and, ultimately, workshop outcomes
Integrability on the Master Space
It has been recently shown that every SCFT living on D3 branes at a toric
Calabi-Yau singularity surprisingly also describes a complete integrable
system. In this paper we use the Master Space as a bridge between the
integrable system and the underlying field theory and we reinterpret the
Poisson manifold of the integrable system in term of the geometry of the field

Smoking habits among Italian adolescents: what has changed in the last decade?
Tobacco use, alcohol abuse, overweight and obesity are risk factors for numerous diseases in Italy as elsewhere. However, children and adolescents are not usually included in official national surveys although it is at this stage of life when unhealthy habits are often established. Italian participation in HBSC and GYTS surveys allows our country to implement standardized surveillance systems providing reliable information on tobacco-related behaviors of this population. Data from three HBSC surveys (2002–2010) show that following the drop in the first half of the decade, prevalence of tobacco use stabilized in the second half. The decline was significant for younger age groups, while prevalence of regular tobacco use remained stable among 15-year-olds. Many adolescents reported being exposed to secondhand smoke, to have at least one parent who smokes, and having seen teachers and students smoking at school. Although the sale of tobacco products to minors is prohibited, the vast majority had no trouble in buying cigarettes. Data from GYTS and HBSC surveys provide a wealth of information about attitudes and behaviors of Italian adolescents with respect to smoking. Despite some progress, sizeable gaps remain in meeting standard recommendations for discouraging smoking initiation and motivating adolescent smokers to quit the habit
N=2 solutions of massive type IIA and their Chern-Simons duals
We find explicit AdS4 solutions of massive type IIA with N=2 supersymmetry
obtained deforming with a Roman mass the type IIA supersymmetric reduction of
the M theory background AdS4 times M111. The family of solutions have SU(3)
times SU(3) structure and isometry SU(3) times U(1)^2. They are conjectured to
be dual to three-dimensional N=2 Chern-Simons theories with generic

Gravity duals to deformed SYM theories and Generalized Complex Geometry
We analyze the supersymmetry conditions for a class of SU(2) structure
backgrounds of Type IIB supergravity, corresponding to a specific ansatz for
the supersymmetry parameters. These backgrounds are relevant for the AdS/CFT
correspondence since they are suitable to describe mass deformations or
beta-deformations of four-dimensional superconformal gauge theories. Using
Generalized Complex Geometry we show that these geometries are characterized by
a closed nowhere-vanishing vector field and a modified fundamental form which
is also closed. The vector field encodes the information about the
superpotential and the type of deformation - mass or beta respectively. We also
show that the Pilch-Warner solution dual to a mass-deformation of N =4 Super
Yang-Mills and the Lunin-Maldacena beta-deformation of the same background fall

Characterization and Analysis of the Carbonation Process of a Lime Mortar Obtained from Phosphogypsum Waste
This work addresses the reuse of waste products as a raw material for lime putties, which are one of the components of mortar. 1:3 Lime/sand mortars very similar to conventional construction mortars were prepared using a lime putty obtained from the treatment of phosphogypsum with sodium hydroxide. The physical, rheological and mechanical properties of this phosphogypsum-derived mortar have been studied, as well as the mineralogical composition, microstructure by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and curing process by monitoring carbonation and ultrasonic propagation velocity. Considering the negative influence of sulphates on the hardened material, the behaviour of the material after sulphates precipitation by adding barium sulphate was additionally tested. Carbonation progressed from the outside to the inside of the specimen through the porous system by Liesegang rings patterns for mortars with soluble sulphates, while the carbonation with precipitated sulphates was controlled by diffusion-precipitation. Overall, the negative influence of low-sulphate contents on the mechanical properties of mortars was verified. Baryonic Generating Functions
We show how it is possible to use the plethystic program in order to compute
baryonic generating functions that count BPS operators in the chiral ring of
quiver gauge theories living on the world volume of D branes probing a non
compact CY manifold. Special attention is given to the conifold theory and the
orbifold C^2/Z_2 times C, where exact expressions for generating functions are
given in detail. This paper solves a long standing problem for the
combinatorics of quiver gauge theories with baryonic moduli spaces. It opens
the way to a statistical analysis of quiver theories on baryonic branches.
Surprisingly, the baryonic charge turns out to be the quantized Kahler modulus

Detection of cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 within basal ganglia output neurons in macaques: changes following experimental parkinsonism
Abstract Although type 1 cannabinoid receptors (CB1-
Rs) are expressed abundantly throughout the brain, the
presence of type 2 cannabinoid receptors (CB2Rs) in neurons
is still somewhat controversial. Taking advantage of
newly designed CB1R and CB2R mRNA riboprobes, we
demonstrate by PCR and in situ hybridization that transcripts
for both cannabinoid receptors are present within
labeled pallidothalamic-projecting neurons of control and
MPTP-treated macaques, whereas the expression is markedly
reduced in dyskinetic animals. Moreover, an in situ
proximity ligation assay was used to qualitatively assess
the presence of CB1Rs and CB2Rs, as well as CB1R–CB2R
heteromers within basal ganglia output neurons in all
animal groups (control, parkinsonian and dyskinetic
macaques). A marked reduction in the number of CB1Rs,
CB2Rs and CB1R–CB2R heteromers was found in dyskinetic
animals, mimicking the observed reduction in CB1R
and CB2R mRNA expression levels. The fact that chronic
levodopa treatment disrupted CB1R–CB2R heteromeric
complexes should be taken into consideration when
designing new drugs acting on cannabinoid receptor
heteromers
Deformations of conformal theories and non-toric quiver gauge theories
We discuss several examples of non-toric quiver gauge theories dual to
Sasaki-Einstein manifolds with U(1)^2 or U(1) isometry. We give a general
method for constructing non-toric examples by adding relevant deformations to
the toric case. For all examples, we are able to make a complete comparison
between the prediction for R-charges based on geometry and on quantum field
theory. We also give a general discussion of the spectrum of conformal
dimensions for mesonic and baryonic operators for a generic quiver theory; in
the toric case we make an explicit comparison between R-charges of mesons and
